Every case presents a unique story; some situations are more complex, while others appear to be straight-forward. In every case, however, parties want a mediator who is willing to customize the process of conflict resolution to fit their needs.
In addition to discussing timing, exploring various interests and values, parties will need to decide whether more than one mediation session is needed to work out a satisfactory resolution.
Your deposit begins the mediation process with Consultation. For any complexity of case, your mediator will set up telephone or Zoom conference call to discuss whether mediation is right for you or the conflict and how mediation may be customized for the unique needs of the case and parties.
Then, if you decide to proceed with our Mediation Services you will receive:
- Scheduling. Based on the conversations around the conflict, your mediator will work with you and the other parties to schedule remote pre-mediation calls and your mediation session(s) at times convenient to all parties.
- Templates. Your mediator will provide information about the mediation process and strategies for success. You will also have access to forms to evaluate settlements, and templates for pre-mediation settlement statements and draft agreements.
- Estimates. Considering the dynamics of the conflict, the discussions with the mediator, and other information the parties choose to provide in the initial consultation, the mediator will be able to estimate the amount of time and number of mediation sessions that may be necessary to reach agreement.
- Access. Professional and personal access to the mediator.
- Multiple Sessions. When appropriate, the mediator and parties may schedule one or more mediation sessions.
